Western Columbine
Aquilegia formosa
Reddish-orange and yellow nodding flowers on this native perennial attract hummingbirds in the spring. Birds love the seeds in late summer and fall. Western Columbine is a pretty addition to a wildlife meadow and will re-seed. Likes well-drained soil but can tolerate seasonal flooding and will work well in a rain garden.
