Red Flowering Currant
Ribes sanguineum
Blooms that range from dark to light pink and sometimes white cover this plant from March to June, making it one of the showiest native shrubs available. Excellent in a hedgerow, Red Flowering Currant is attractive to hummingbirds and other pollinators. Useful as a landscape feature and as an upland restoration species, it has multiple trunks and an upright spreading form.
