Pacific Rhododendron

Native Pollinator

The state flower of Washington, Pacific Rhododendron blooms range from light pink to rosy-purple. They bloom in clusters from late spring to early summer, and are attractive to native bumblebees. This iconic Pacific Northwest shrub has an open form and long leathery evergreen leaves. Pacific Rhododendron forms thickets and looks lovely at the edge of a wooded area.

  • Soil: dry to moist with high organic content

Plug plants are small seedlings grown in individual containers that vary in size and are about half the volume of a standard 4″ pot. They may have limited top growth due to the time of year they are distributed.
