Oemlaria cerasiformis

New for 2024!

Native Pollinator

Early fragrant blossoms and emerging leaves are a sure sign of spring. Hummingbirds and bees love the flowers, and birds are attracted to the “plums” in early summer. Good for erosion control on shaded slopes. Tolerates dry soil.

  • Mature height: 8′ to 20′
  • Mature width: 8′ to 15′
  • Light conditions: part shade to shade
  • Soil: dry to moist, well-drained
  • Sold in bundles of ten bare-root plants, 12″+ tall
  • $21.00 per bundle

Bare-root plants are dug when they are dormant and are sold without soil around the roots, packaged in plastic bags to keep them moist.
