Broccoli – Belstar
Brassica oleracea var. italic
Belstar broccoli is well adapted for the Pacific Northwest and does well in spring and early summer plantings. Heads are well-domed with a medium-size bead. This variety is stress-tolerant with good side-shoot production once the main head is harvested. Organic F1 hybrid maturing in 65 days.
Hardy spring vegetable starts in large 6-packs priced at $6.00 per 6-pack. The large 6-pack plant containers are 2″ x 2.25″ with a 3.25″ cell depth for good root development.
All of these vegetable varieties are our favorites – tried and tested at the Kitsap Conservation District GRACE Garden. They will be hardened off and ready to plant in your early spring garden.
